OutProsys has been processing data for our clients for over 25 years, starting with capturing from paper, then fax, images, emails and more recently from videos.
Throughout our evolution, and in all instances, we are simply converting raw data into usable, accurate information that can be relied upon.
We are an ISO 9001 privately owned and BBBEE Level 2 empowered business, head quartered in Cape Town, South Africa, from where we successfully deliver our solutions into the UK and SA markets. We process and host over 10 million documents, images and emails per year for our customers, some of whom are the leading blue chip companies in their respective industries.
Our production facility has over 70 staff, including a core management team of 5 that has over 100 years of combined experience in outsourced data processing.
Our average data entry operator has over 25 years of experience. Our Head of Data Capture and Production Manager have over 80 years of combined data capture and processing experience. It is this talented and driven team who are capable of processing and hosting millions of documents annually in a secure and compliant environment.
In addition to our data processing services we also provide an online capture platform called eCapture as well as a Web Portal where your electronic images and data can be hosted securely online providing authorised users 24 x 7 real-time access to search and view their documents as well as providing DR offsite backup.

OutProsys was born in 2001 from a shared vision between two brothers, Greg and Jason, separated by the distance between London and Cape Town but united by a single goal: to reshape the back-office processing landscape. They identified a unique opportunity to replicate high-efficiency international processing models while leveraging South Africa’s world-class technical infrastructure and incredible talent pool.
OutProsys began in the most authentic way possible, in the entrance hall of Jason’s home in Somerset West. While Greg secured the first sales contracts and custom developed the VB capture interface, Jason established the operational foundation. Using what was then cutting-edge technology ISDN lines and early Fax-to-Email systems, they proved that a South African operation could compete on a global stage. Following the successful delivery of their first contract, the need for scale became apparent. In late 2001, Jason partnered with Grant, bringing a deep pool of skilled administrative talent into the fold. This partnership transformed the startup into a robust enterprise, setting the stage for the decades of innovation and growth anchored in the “human-in-the-loop” philosophy that still defines us today.
In the decades since, OutProsys has evolved into a leader in data processing and AI-assisted automation. We have stayed true to our founding mission: combining cutting-edge technology with human expertise to create sustainable local employment and world-class solutions for our global partners.
Jason, a Chartered Accountant by trade, but an entrepreneur and creator at heart, known for blending high-level financial rigor with a passion for scalable IT innovation. His career began at Deloitte in 1996, providing a foundation that propelled him into the world of global finance in London. As Global Operations Risk Manager at UBS Investment Bank, Jason managed complex international operations during the historic Euro conversion, an experience that cemented his expertise in large-scale risk mitigation and managing a global team.
In 1999, the pull of South Africa brought him home. After a successful tenure as Financial Director for the credit bureau Experian (then Compuscan), Jason’s focus shifted toward IT innovation. In 2001, he teamed up with his brother to launch OutProsys, driven by the goal of bridging the gap between South African talent and the UK’s demand for high-quality outsourced document processing.
His passion for building scalable solutions didn’t stop there. In 2003, Jason co-founded 3iSolutions with Grant, expanding his footprint into the contact center space. Today, Jason remains at the helm of OutProsys as the CEO. He leverages his deep expertise in risk management and financial systems to ensure OutProsys remains a leader in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), delivering precision and reliability to clients worldwide.
With a career spanning over three decades at the intersection of engineering and business, Grant is the technical architect behind much of our operational success. His journey began in 1990 as a programmer at International Data Services. Grant’s natural leadership and deep understanding of systems saw him quickly ascend from IT Manager to Managing Director, eventually leading a successful management buyout of the firm in 1997.
Grant’s expertise is grounded in a rigorous academic background, having studied both Electronic Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of Cape Town. This rare blend of hardware and software knowledge allowed him to develop mission-critical systems for high-stakes clients, including a major South African bank, provincial administrations, and the Swaziland Government.
In 2001, Grant’s path converged with OutProsys. He partnered with Greg and Jason to build a robust framework for international document processing, followed by the co-founding of 3iSolutions in 2003 to tackle the UK contact center market. Today, Grant provides strategic oversight as a Non-Executive Director, ensuring that the legacy of technical excellence and administrative precision he helped build continues to drive both companies forward.
